Meet Jason Smith (Co-Owner & Head Technician)
A life-long automotive enthusiast, Jason has worked on just about everything twice!
After completing three years of automotive training he attended the Motorcycle Mechanic Institute (MMI), with an emphasis on Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Yamaha, watercraft, and snowmobiles. Jason’s professional career has provided him with an opportunity to complete the highest levels of factory training with Honda, Yamaha, and Dynojet. He has been awarded top technician multiple years in a row by Honda and Yamaha.
Jason saw an opportunity to serve motorsport and recreational vehicle owners with a one-stop shop that gives great customer service, quality parts and fluids, and timely repairs. He brought that vision to life when he founded Smitty’s Motorsports with co-owner Melody Souther.
Today you’ll find Jason working hard putting all his experience and attention to detail to work for you — not just as an owner, but as our head technician.
I was driving in from out of town and they were accommodating to my schedule. Clean shop, professional staff, and excellent work done.
Amazing service from an all over great mechanic. He was able to diagnose and fix a problem with my Yamaha V-Star that even the dealership couldn’t find! Very easy to work with responsive as well.
Jason quickly engenders trust, and with good reason. His no bs approach to the issues concerning my bike and the more then reasonable costs have ensured I will be a lifetime Smitty’s Motorsports customer. My sincerest thanks Jason
Great service! I will also take my vehicles to Smitty’s. So hard to find someone to trust and I trust them.
